Michael Daming Honored as Brentwood Citizen of the Year

At its December holiday party, the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce honored Michael Daming as its 2014 Citizen of the Year. In addition to Wasinger Daming’s having its principal place of business within Brentwood, Missouri. Michael Daming serves as the chairman of the Brentwood Planning and Zoning Commission as well as on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Home Society of Missouri, which maintains its residential program location within Brentwood.

Daming Successfully Defends Clients in Trial

August 11, 2014 On August 7, 2014, the Honorable Richard Bresnahan entered judgment in favor of Michael Daming’s clients following a bench trial in the Circuit Court for St. Louis County, who had been sued for compensatory and punitive damages stemming from an alleged breach of a non-competition agreement. Prior to Daming’s retention, a preliminary injunction had been entered against Daming’s clients, but the court dissolved the injunction and rejected all of Plaintiff’s claims.

Court of Appeals Affirms Judgment

June 25, 2014 On June 24, 2014, the Missouri Court of Appeals affirmed a judgment entered after a two-day trial in favor of one of Michael Daming’s business clients. The trial court entered judgment for the full amount sought at trial, which involved various contract and fraud allegations, and the Court of Appeals affirmed the judgment in its entirety in a per curiam order.
