Wasinger Settles Case for $614 Million

April 15, 2014 David Wasinger represented Keith Edwards in a qui tam whistleblower case filed on behalf of the United States of America against JP Morgan Chase. The bank paid $614 million to settle charges that it violated rules of the Federal Housing Administration and Department of Veteran Affairs. Wasinger worked with the U.S. Attorneys’ office in Southern District of New York. Mr. Edwards received $63.9 million as part of the settlement.

Court of Appeals Affirms $1.2 Million Judgment

August 27, 2013 The Missouri Court of Appeals affirms a $1.2 million judgment in favor of one of the firm’s banking clients. The case involved the validity of municipal ordinances requiring a local municipality to reimburse certain fees incurred in developing real estate. The Missouri Supreme Court has accepted an application to hear the case.

November 16, 2011 On October 31, 2011, Michael K. Daming was successful in obtaining a temporary restraining order on behalf of his client, who sought to enforce a non-competition and non-solicitation agreement against former employees who left his client’s employ and were hired by a competitor.
